Alan Bates Steamboat Cyclopoedium

I was recommended a book by Alan L Bates called The Western Rivers Steamboat Cyclopoedium. Book went out of print in 1969 but did an internet search and bought a copy out of the USA for £12 inc. postage. Was offered a copy from a bookshop in Hay on Wye for £60, glad I found the american one. Absolutely brilliant book.

It just goes to show that it pays to shop around Ian - The prices some internet shops charge for books is obscene!
