we went to the echuca rally this year a little disappointing not as many displays as the previous years and noticed the modles were out in force which was good to see!! :D
was able to catch up with some old timers and get some good info which made it worth while.....

Hey everyone,

Those are some bute models!! Pity i am replying a post like a year late but ah well!!!
I do recommend the Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally to anyone that can get to Beaufort, Western Highway between Ararat and Ballarat, because last year or the year before it was fantastic. Heaps and heaps of steam displays from models to traction engines to trains. So if anyone loves their steam, go ahead and go!! i am not sure of the dates though, so you might have to google Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally, Beaufort, Victoria. It is only 2 hours from Melb, so head on down!!
