I'm considering building the creole queen kit from dumas and was wondering if anyone has built this kit and what they think of it.
Thanks

Hi Bud,
I've built the Creole Queen - Like most Dumas kits, the quality of the timber supplied is very poor. I used most of the timber parts as templates to make my own parts from decent quality woods... Apart from that it makes into a very nice model, and the handling (for a large boat) is superb!

Thanks Eddy, I was concerned about the wood quality above all else.
