Go to http://12121.hostinguk.com/merrychristmas.htm for a musical postcard I forgot to send on time. If you think the first one is bad, it's probably because you haven't scrolled down to hear the rest of the stuff!

Best wishes, Frank

...and the one marked 'for whom the bell tolls' is that a real virus or just something  to scare us? it certainly put me off looking at any of the rest of the site...

...well, looks like it isn't anything to worry about (at least, my norton antivirus/firewall software didn't find anything) so I guess the resulting pop-up is just a joke-animation-type-thing but it had me worried there, last time I got a screen like that the computer didn't work properly until I reformatted the hard disk - losing all my files and several programs I'd bought online and therefore didn't have installation discs for them....
Oh well....

WARNING - TWO OF OUR COMPUTERS AT HOME HAVE BEEN HIT WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE "february 3rd" VIRUS.  My own computer was attacked and the main hardrive taken down so that the computer is totally inaccessible.
Within 2 hours my wife's standby laptop went down with exactly the same "Blue Screen of Death" and impossible to reboot the system.  This is going to be expensive to fix.

This is the first serious virus attack I have encountered in almost 15 years on the internet.  Has anyone else had this virus on Saturday?

EBAY -  I had my account hijacked twice before I downloaded the EBAY Toolbar and security.  It's well worth doing.  Find it at:

Hi PD's - PJ - we had the same warnings here in OZ for our 3rd of February as below - I understand some unsuspecting colleagues suffered & as a consequence had to repair their PC's by this method  :crash - Derek

HI ALL
THIS CAME FROM DOUG KENNY
HEED THE WARNING!
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Begin forwarded message:
Subject: Virus warning

Hello all.
This is a Virus warning.  I don't usually do this as these sort of emails
are often hoaxes in themselves.  In this case both Vet and Zone Alarm are
issuing warnings on this virus for this day so I am taking it VERY seriously
and I suggest you do the same.  Call me if you are not sure what you need to
do.

IF you receive unsolicited emails from addresses you are unsure of or do not
know. Delete without opening. Especially this Friday

It could well be a virus which goes by the names Blackmal, Kama Sutra or
MyWife due to hit February 3rd.

It may have the following subjects
crazy illegal sex
real show
give me a kiss
school girl fantasies gone bad
Funny :)
My photos
Generally…. Adult themes.

Yep, Derek...it's taken my geek two days to even access the HD and now he has to try to transefer all the files so he can reformat it.  All a royal pain in the stern!
