Hi Eddy & other moderators

A few weeks ago I asked about the old Yahoo forum, and the next thing I new you undertook the long and tedious task of transferring it to this site.

As promised, I have now been through it and looked at all the posts and, despite my being far too hamfisted and impatient to consider modelling myself there has been much in there that has been fascinating. This includes a few new books for my book list, some excellent links (and some very helpful suggestions for investigating some of the sites I was already aware of) as well as much of general paddler interest.

So a great big thanks for your efforts - much appreciated - and for other relatively new members of our group, may I heartily reccommend a browse - lots of information that will be of interest, and lots of inspiration and potential projects as well.

It was a long job copying all the messages across from the old Yahoo group, but it was definately worth the effort David, so thankyou for the suggestion.  I'd always intended to do it, but kept putting it off until you asked and forced me to get my butt into gear! :-)

We're always happy to listen to suggestions on how to improve the Paddleducks website, and although we cannot gaurantee to implement everything people ask for, we'll certainly do our best.
