PS Ryde

Hi all,

Walter Snowdon (RedGauntlet) asked me to upload a few photos of the
PS Ryde. They are in the photo section in the "PS Ryde" Folder (not
surprisingly!).

The photos clearly show the sad state of the boat, and the urgent
need to try to preserve her before it's too late - if it isn't
already?

If you have any questions on her or her preservation, please ask
Walter as I'm sure he has all the details...

Oh boy, Eddy....she looks to be in rather sad shape as Walter's
photos illustrate so vividly.

Mark Young has valiantly formed a group to attempt preservation
of "PS RYDE" and the Web site for this paddler is at:

Thanks for posting these pictures,(and to Walter too) as discouraging
as these images appear.

Hi, its me again .(You can tell I am a sad old retired anorak!!) For
those interested in the on going attempt to save the RYDE, there is a
video of her present state taken earlier this year while being
inspected by shipyard representatives. this shows some shots of her
intact engine as well as general delapidation. it is a quick

the way, for the eagle eyed, the name on the paddleboard RYDE QUEEN
was given to her when she was a static disco. \ Sadly the Ryde web
site is being bombarded with spam from the porn industry, so beware
