In the 2004 January/February issue of Ships in Scale Magazine there is an excellent article on building the Scotch Yoke Drive for stern wheelers. CJ Wires was a retired Marine Engineer and outstanding craftsman and model builder before his passing away just recently. I have several of these drives in boats. Chuck and I were very close friends,the photos in the article, I took for him.
