Wilesco steam engine

does any one out there have a wilssco d48 steam engine?
im having a problem with the gas tank.
can i use butane/propane?

Hi I have a D48 in a Steam Launch, I had to make my own fuel supply system as the one supplied would not run the engine for more than five minutes. I used the valve from a compact camp stove (Coleman or primas) and made a burner jet form the generator of a old naphtha lamp. with this I can run until the boiler runs dry(a new boiler with feed water pump are on the to-do list). lots of luck Gerald ,Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
