Great Eastern site update

Hi all,

Just wanted to say that we updated our Great Eastern site:

This is NOT advertising. As you all know, Scott, Russell and myself are just
Great Eastern buffs trying to gather as much material and information as
possible and share it with everyone for free. :-)

Scott and I just won another Great Eastern stereo view on eBay. It seems to
show the wheelhouse. Until now we only saw the wheelhouse on contemporary
artwork but never on any photo. All photos of the GE in New York (1860) show
her with the four wheels uncovered.

As soon as we will receive the photo, we will post a sharp scan of it on our
site.

We are almost ready (one photo short showing the area around #5 funnel) to
forward the exact deckhouse arrangement of the Great Eastern "as built"

Any help or contribution highly appreciated.

BTW: I agree: any commercial advertising should be ignored here in the
Paddleducks group. This should be "modeler helps modeler" only. :-)
