Hi stewart, thanks for your email to me ragarding Paddle tug SEAHAM.
Well. things are moving! Eddy located two photos for me, and a trawl
through fifty years of Modelmaker and Model Boats mags turned up an
article with photos and a small plan of her (not very good, but
better than nothing). Coincidentaly, on Dredging old French magazines
from a couple of years ago... youguessedit! A colour photo of a steam
powered SEAHAM sailing in a FRENCH regatta!!! Welcome back, Walter.
PS I talked to Phil THOMAS about SEAHAM, and he said that about
1964 he visited , photographed and measured all the Tyne and Wear
paddle tugs still in existance, quite a fleet even then. Sadly the
SEAHAM had gone to the breakers shortly before his visit!
