Hi Peter,
I must admit I don't yet know what colour the paddlewheels
are but as I am going to be building her I would be keen to find
out, I would however surmise that they would be:- red framing with
wood coloured floats and maybe white banding.........Dai Powell

Hi Dai and Peter:

I have three nice pictures of "Pevensey" but wouldnt ya know it's
impossible to see the exact colour of her wheels.

If you'd like the pics anyway, just holler and I can send them.
Maybe we should open up a file area for Pevensey!!!

The metalwork is either a deep red OR morone colour, the floats appear
to be black. I assume that the rims are the same colour as the
gunwale trim color, My photos show no extra highlight colours on the
metal work.

I'll fish out the photo and post in due course

Hope this helps.

Brett,
Thanks for the info, I have yet to get back to Echuca to check out the Pevensey
and I will be doing water trials within the next month, just have to cash up after
Christmas, as soon as I get another Rx. I will then post some photos, all being well.

Hi Dai!!

Ok..I'm in contact with the Port of Echuca and they say nobody can
actually recall "Pevensey's" wheel colour, so apparently somebody's
going down to have a look at her and let us know. I've also asked
Echuca for an on-site "mentor" to assist the model builder(s) if any
detailing info is needed.

Boy..if they come through, it doesn't get much better than that!!
