Leighton, what better name for your new paddler when she is finished than "
The Spirit of Waverley" ?
Funnel colours to be Red, white band, and a black top. A kiwi emblem on the
white band. This typifies all the best of the old Country and the New.
sentimental old bugger me, but it would be quite a crowd puller.
I would love to see a sketck/drawing of what you are going to build, I may
be able to input a few ideas. Mike.

Hi Mike,
I some how get the distinct impression that you have a very soft
spot for the Waverley?
Have a look in the photos, under Spirit of Waikato, The first is the
dream and the others (with some duplications due to the inserter
being new on the job!)showing progress on the model. This is a
static model built soley to help raise finance.
