Evening all. While searching the net for pictures of a paddle tug (PT
SEAHAM). I came across a site with construction photographs of a
model of one of our local paddle tugs PT RELIANT. Its breathtaking,
detailed interior, two twin oscilator steam engines, copper plated
hull etc. and the builder only lives 40 miles from me!. Please look
at it and you will be as pleased as me. The site also has a lot of
tug photos, including paddlers.

Well, Walter, you're absolutely right! This model of "PT RELIANT"
(ex "OLD TRAFFORD") is truly breathtaking. I know..as I've had the
honour of seeing her first hand, because, unless I'm truly mistaken
there's only ONE model of "Reliant" which looks as good as this...and
this is our very own Paddleduck, Stu Badger's Model which I had the
priviledge of seeing last year in England when I visited him. In fact
we had all followed her building progress all through Paddleducks
last year...and what a day it was when she was launched. Stu is a
professional model builder and the degree of accuracy and care he
incorpiorated into the model is superb. He lives in Sussex, UK.

For those wanting to know more about Stu and "Reliant", just do a
search in Paddleducks under "Reliant" and you'll see all the email
exchanges which occurred during her construction. It's very
interesting to watch the progress of the model as he was building
her. You'll also see many of the construction photos in our photo
