Sure is small @ 1.84"x0.98"x0.61" but one of the minor issues is that the Futuba lead plugs I requested on my ACTion kits are 2.65 mm thick where as the JR receptcal is to suit 2.5 mm JR plugs & after you snip the lug on the Futuba plug, then sand the thickness to 2.5 mm then file two 0.5 mm face directional chamfers the plugs look a bit worse for it so will replace them all with original JR leads

Interesting point & the old engineering philosophy here Tony - never replace two things or systems together because if it dosn't work they will ony blame each other, so I took my 20 year old Futuba ESC & the new [three day old] JR kit in & questioned the six ratchet clicks in neutral position & stated that if I plug the same old Futuba ESC into my 20 year old Futuba R/C kit I get just three ratchet clicks in neutral etc etc - so after the usual [no we don't believe you, but will just try other R700FM Rx just to disprove you] & hey presto just three clicks in neutral, so I departed the store with the alternate Rx & that evening got my new ACTion Kits ESC to perform perfectly - I will post more on the sound effects modules when time permits

Good to hear of so much progress here Tony & I note your recent questions & response between Stuart & yourself etc & one of the real benefits of belonging to PD's - constructing feathering paddles @ 1:24 or @ 1:32 would still require the same access to machining or tooling facilities - so being realists if they are not readily available we just improvise & if weight permits you can simulate the bulk of the feathering wheel connections & rods & pins etc [ala fixed] only the water will know - regards Derek
