Hi all,

The last paddle wheelers in regular service on the Atlantic route, Cunard's
Persia and Scotia, caught my attention.

I would like, one day, to make a 1/350 model of one of these vessels. After
some quick math, I came to the conclusion that a 1/350 model will be a bit
over one foot in overall length.

Where can I get information, photographs and plans? Any recommended books on
these paddle wheelers?

Any information highly appreciated

Best

"Transatlantic Paddle Steamers" by H Philip Spratt, published by Brown, Son
and Ferguson of Glasgow in 1951 with a second edition in 1967, reprinted in
1980, is the only book on these steamers apart from general histories of
Cunard. Try www.abebooks.com for a second hand copy, or do a google for the
Brown Son and Ferguson website as I think it is still in print. The cost was
only £7.00 new.
I also have a contact who lived in Guam and has been researching the SCOTIA
for years
