We are starting a project for the Gold Coast City Council restoring
an 1800's paddle steamer the "Maid of Sker" this 80' vessel used to
run from Brisbane down to Southport and Nerang and all points in
between, we are going to shift her to a better site in the park and
restore her. Unfortunately there is not enough money to put her back
on the river,(any one got a spare million).
