We'd like to start a few articles on models built by our members....

Write an article on your model. What made you chose a particular prototype to model? How did you research it? Were drawings available, if not how did you continue without them? Include some photos of the full size ship, and of the model during construction and when finished. Explain any problems you came up against, and how you overcame them....

Initially we'll put them as messages into the forum, but if we can get a few we can create a seperate area on the website to highlight members models....

Thanks Mick, that's exactly what we need - I'm sure I can't be the only one that likes to see how a model was built in detail?

As I said in my previous message, if we can get a few people to do an article we'll create a special area on the site to show them off properly.

Yeh I enjoy reading how people make their steamers...it saves me time in asking questions as I can just look up what people do! It helps for a beginner such as me
