The 2008 "Paddler Day" will take place on September 21st 2008, at Darlington & District MBC, The Waterpark, Middleton St George, Nr Darlington, County Durham, England.  Directions to the lake, and more details as things are finalised, are available from eddy.matthews@paddleducks.co.uk

Last years event (the first), was a huge success, even with the terrible weather we had, and we hope to make this one even bigger and better!

Everyone is welcome to attend, but the sailing water is exclusively reserved for paddlers! This year we hope to get as many Graupner "Glasgow" tugs on the water as possible, lets try to set an unbeatable record!! Although ALL paddlers are welcome of course!

Indoor and outdoor display areas for anyone that wishes to display a model without sailing. Food and refreshments will be available. Toilet and (limited) parking near the lake.

This is purely a "modellers" get together for those that enjoy (or have an interest) in paddlers. No traders, though a "Bring and Buy" stall will be in operation should you wish to buy or sell any of those odds and ends (commission payable by seller on succesful sales)

Come along and support a truely unique event in the modelling calendar!

Regards
Eddy

The message above has had the Directions file updated - A new roundabout has been built which may confuse people, so this is now included in the directions. Also added is the nearest postcode which will get you to within 30 metres of our sailing water for those with satnav. Nobody can get lost from within 30 metres can they?  :whistle
