Lots of extremely interesting stuff to browse though, but the one that will probably be of most interest is an article on model paddle wheels - And the mathematics involved in their design. I have to admit I found it a bit heavy going in places, but it's the first article of it's type I've seen anywhere. So take a look....

I am a long standing member of the 'PaddleDucks' web group [model paddle wheel vessel], based from UK [with Eddy Mathews as our Moderator]....and have recently read all of your postings from your ............CO.UK site....including the very interesting comments on paddle wheel design & construction....thank you

Certainly enjoyed reading of your younger days as an apprentice in a brass foundry.........however your thoughts, comments & calculations suggest far greater studies in marine engineering & applying engineering scale in principal

To this point, would you consider posting a listing of 'scaling attributes' for vessel modeling? as I am sure many [including myself] are sometimes confused.....like

scale speed = the ? [function of the real vessel speed x the ?? function of  scale]
scale displacement =   the ? [function of the real vessel displacement x the ?? function of  scale]
scale revolutions = the ? [function of the real vessel wheel RPM  x the ?? function of  scale]
plus any other scale conversion values you think appropriate to our craft

I have included two snaps of my now eight year but yet unfinished build....[the hull is mine...the boiler & engine components imported].....PS Decoy...a 1:24 stand off scale of an 1878 Scottish built [Henderson Renfrew] ...shipped to Australia....a 110 ton multi purpose steam paddler
