Samotný sraz přilákal asi dvacet parníkářů, z nichž se většina zapojila do soutěžního zápolení. Princip soutěže se léta nemění: Ve vodě je několik bójek, které musí soutěžící objet, přičemž vyhrává ten nejrychlejší.
