Hi All,

Paddler day was a really good day with good weather and glass like water conditions ... Ideal!

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me. There were many boats of all different shapes and sizes and most were sailing at some point during the day.

Catering was at an equally high standard to last year... well done ladies!

There was a bring and buy stall which looked rather empty at the end of the day.

All in all a very well organised and run event at a great venue, looking forward to next year!

It was a brilliant day and great to be able to meet up again with friends both old and new. The catering and organisation were up to their usual very high standards and I would like to pass on my thanks to all the members of D&DMBC for their efforts. You even managed to organise superb weather - a miracle for 2011! I have been trying to post this message (& pics) since Sunday to no avail but Eddy has now managed to upload my photos for me - see the Photo Gallery under Paddler Day 2011. Thanks Eddy.
Here's to next year - and another curry + my annual Cobra

Some beautiful boats there. Will have to make the effort and see if I can't make it in the next year or two.

Sorry for the delay,

i was so busy the whole last week with organising my trip to the Fromula1 in Monza but now is the time to say, THANK YOU, to all the members of the D&DMBC, to the ladies who made a brilliant job at the kitchen, to all of you who made the trip to the event and finally to the weather who was really good.

I try to make sure Daniel + Joerg joining me for next years event.
