My second attempt at this post. Many thanks to the long suffering Eddy for helping me sort things out.

Attended the Model Steamer Club Spring Event at Rouken Glen last month. Fantastic sunny day, which paradoxically caused some photography problems, but the wind rose towards the end of the day. Not windy enough to stop intrepid sailors though. Lots of visiting clubs and many fine models on display, more importantly they were on the water. Someone counted seven Clyde Steamers on the water at the one time. Have loaded pictures of some of the large contingent of paddlers present and hope to add some more later. Hope also to load a video onto YouTube when I get round to finishing the editing.

Some more pictures from Rouken Glen. Not knowledgeable about paddlers and unable to identify rather nice vessel with black hull and yellow funnel. Assistance please?

Some nice pictures indeed. I fairly sure the paddler with the yellow funnel and dark blue hull is the "Duchess of Rothesay", built for the Caledonian Steam Packet Co., in 1895.
She seems to long for the "Fife", and isn't the "Montrose" or "Hamilton". (they were all "Duchesses" as well!)
I can be corrected on this...I'm not 100% sure

Noticed the Glen Rosa in a few pics, looks like the model that was featured in "Model Boats" mag a few years ago

Many thanks for the Duchess of Rothesay id Clark. The other model you mention is indeed the Glen Rosa - I only know because the pic was sharp enough to pick out the name. Sorry I didn't get more shots of the Glen Sannox but such is life. Need to motivate myself and get the video on to YouTube.

Yes, the paddler with the yellow funnel is the Duchess of Rthesay and the Glen Rosa was built by John Gray who wrote up the build for Model Boats. The Rothesay is a stunning model.

One of these days I'll have to get up to Rouken Glen when they are sailing!

Fantastic...amazing models
The white funnelled paddler, is that the "Bournmouth Queen?" I like the smoke! The low down camera angle gives good results

The white funnelled paddler is indeed the Bournemouth Queen and I agree the smoke is the icing on the cake. As you know I am a newcomer to the scene and not very knowledgeable but that particular day was fantastic and a heaven sent photo opportunity.

I'm pushed to say which was my favourite paddler but the Queen must rank very high on the list.
