I am a new member and I live near Ascot. Many years ago I built a fast boat with an IC motor. At Bushey Park lake another dad & son were exercising a small electric scale destroyer. My 10 year old son sent the boat out on a wide arc and at terrific speed went straight over the middle of the destroyer. With lightning reactions he thrust the TX into my hands and took off before the dad could turn round. Humble apologies saved teeth.
Now, with thoughts of the work that went into that devastated destroyer, I plan to build steam powered scale. What a steep learning curve! I expect to be tapping your collective knowledge before long.
