Hi Guys

Just thought I'd say a quick hello seeing as I've just joined.

Living in Sydney and working on a couple of paddler designs.

A Director Class Paddle Tug that you're likely all familiar with.  Hopefully getting the hull and plans in the next few weeks so I can start on this Build

An Alligator Tug - Scratch building this from photos as I haven't been able to find any plans at all of these intersting little craft.
Inspiration for this is from the old TV Series 'Tugs' which I loved as a kid.

This is going to be a mini build only 100 x 250mm and I'm planning to 3d print most of the parts.

I'm playing with building paddles while I wait for the Forceful hull and plans to arrive.

I've got a .pdf copy of the plans but they're not a perfect scan.
They're good enough for me to redraw in CAD.

The biggest problem I'm having is the whole thing's in imperial measurements.  Getting my head around it though.

The measurements themselves aren't the difficult part.  I's tweaking measurements to suit metric materials and then making sure I allow for that difference in other parts affected by it.

I'm getting the majority of the parts laser cut once I've finished drawing.

Once I've got it all sorted and proven it works I'll upload the 3d drawings here for others to use.
