Hi, I am Vladimir from Ukraine.

I apologize for the bad English, but I will try to communicate with you.

I allway like shipmodelling and make paper models when I was a young boy -  in USSR time (I am too old, wow!). In 2009 I create a paper model of Russian Imperial destroyer's "Kit/Bezshumny" (1904).

Year ago I started research work on plans of first iron military paddle steamer - H.E.I.C. Nemesis and when I was found information about her, I find your site and forum - so I start read all topics. If I can collect lot of data about this ship I will try create her 3D and model.

With best regards - Vladimir

Hello Vladimir and welcome to paddleducks. You will find it treasure-trove of information. I too have a fascination for pre revolutionary Russian ships especialy paddlesteamers and warships. It is a field not well documented and now you will be a translator for all of us who have difficulty with the Russian alphabet!!!. Hope you enjoy the site. Walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.

Walter,  I am happy to help translate any Russian texts.
Btw, you can see my destroyer project here - http://shop.homepaper.com.ua/product_info.php?cPath=29_33&products_id=55 It is paper model publisher from Ukraine, and I designed this model. This is not advertising the store, and if moderators delete this link - it's no problem.
