Hi everybody,

I'm Kazimierz (you can call me Kaz, if you want to) and I live in Gliwice, which is in the south of Poland.
I am interested in warships and naval battles roughly from 1815 to 1905, mainly in the Confederate warships and those of the lesser known navies (mostly South American, Chinese and Japanese ones).
I build models, mostly paper ones, but quite recently I started "building" virtual models in 3D using Google SketchUp.
I hope you will be able to help me in my research and maybe I will be able to help you in yours.

You have chosen a good and interesting subject to study and replicate. We would welcome seeing any of the sketches you have completed.

Welcome to Paddleducks Kaz - Quite a few of our members have researched the US Civil War boats, and some of the South American ones, not sure about Japanese though?

Hopefully someone will be able to help when you have more definite questions to ask....
