two such boats that started life on the murry and ended up in gippsland were the Ethel jackson and Burrabogie but still Dargo..?

The Dargo in Gippsland was a bigger vessel than the one on the Murray, plus I think it was a screw steamer.  Also, the Charlotte was only believed to have been renamed Dargo. Since it wasn't registered under either name & seems to have only worked in one locality there is very little information available on it.

The ps little wonder which you refer to was huge and is correct to first part of this post  :D  but  i am thinking-chasing information of PS "little wonder" she was only about 40 feet   :o  If you can find out more about her i would appreciate it. :wink:
