Okay Ray, I'll see if I can answer all those questions and in order!
Q1 Yes it is the boiler room facing to the back, the timbers are for the deck either side of the boiler. I've attached a photo so you can see where the steel frames end and timbers start and what the bilge is like. The timber frames run the full width the other blocks are for extra strength for the steel beams, which the boiler sits on.
Most of the sponson brackets are there, but the rudder is long gone, I have a good shot of the rudder so wouldn't be hard to whip one up.
Q3. The wheels Diameter is 12ft therefore 12 floats on each wheel.
The gear is 2500mm in dia and 275mm wide, with 5groves for the ropes.
I'll attach photo's of the Tension pulley and gear for the engine which are both 650mm in dia.
Q4 is actually the forward hold with a hatch, and seperated down the middle for two rooms. The winch sat behind the hatchway.
Yes all the framing is angle iron.
Q5 Will attach photo's of the bow and stern
Q6 We are looking forward, so taken from the stern, there are three bulkheads. One right at the front and the other two in the engineroom.
Length is 23.4m
Width is 5m
Depth Topside- 840mm
         Timber- 730mm
She only drew 10inched when launched!
