Hello folks. My Waverley is due its winter refit and I would like a colour change to British Rails MONASTERIL BLUE (not sure of the spelling). Does anyone know of a source or methen number for this colour?. is it the same blue which adorned the British Rail Deltics and other diesels of that period?. looking forward to some feedback on this one. I think the colour you want is P110 - but a phone call should sort it. The paints are excellent - I have used them for years.

Thanks Roger. I have a paint chip from the deltic prototype and the blue is too light. Photos of Monasteril show it to be fairly dark with maybe a a very small amount of green which gives it that distinctive look. i will contact the site to see if they have a mix for monasteril. regatrds, walter.

Incidently the colour you need Walter is the dark post 65 BR Blue.

Mick your education has been sadly neglected, or where you one of the ones snoring in the back of the class. I thought everyone had to take shakespear in school, thus ruining most peoples appreciation of the bards work.
