I've often wondered what glue they use.  This is because there are so many joints you would have to wait while one stick was drying before attaching the next one.

PVA Ken in small amounts all flat panels are put together on a 5mm perspex panel and Len said they never stick to it,
the curves are assembled on pre-shaped cornflakes boxes with cling wrap over it .
