Finally I can state that the Phantom will take to the water this weekend after a long hiatus spent on the repair bench, aka some small space in my garage/workshop. The problem, apart from me slacking off, was a 1 1/2 inch gash in the starboard paddle box put there when I made a modification to increase the safety performance and unintentionally making the first American civil war blockade running submarine. All now seems fixed and Sunday will hopefully prove me correct.
