just had a quick look in the newsagents (hadn't yet been to the cashpoint!) and saw a quite extensive article on Waverley with many photos, also a bit on building a model - the model in question looked very familiar!!!

mjt60A is refering to an article by Colin Bishop about the Waverley and he has been kind enough to feature 'yours truly's' little home made version as a comparison.

I was as surprised as you when I found out. This was a snapshot in scruffy gear during a break in construction and shows the untidy surroundings in which I work. 

I'm hoping to take her to the ModelBoat Mayhem annual get-together this weekend at Wicksteed park near Northampton, so, if anyone wants to come along, your welcome. This is our third year now and is full of all types of model boats and it usually rains. .  I've bought a gazebo but expect it to be blown away.
