Hi all,

Research and modeling of the Great Eastern goes on. We added another picture
of my scratch built 1/350:

This depicts the dryfit of one of the first two funnel assemblies which are
identical (I am only 100% sure about #1 funnel but there's enough evidence
that #2 funnel was identical). The twin steam pipes fwd and aft will be
added later. I'll use Detail Associates brass wire.

At the moment I am fabricating the oval bodies for the last three funnels
which were part of the steam plant powering the screw propeller.

Recently Scott and I have won another GE stereo card on Ebay. Hopefully it
will reveal more detail and answer some questions.
We will post a sharp single image of it as soon as we can.
