Well, Alistair, what you lack for in modeling dexterity, you more
than compensate for in literary prowess and paddlewheeler savvy.
(Alistair's Book "Steamers of the Clyde" is still my favourite
travelling companion..and when we met aboard PS "Waverley" he tells
me there's another on the way)

It just so happens that my friend Kai Morgensen of the Burnaby
Association of Marine Modelers here in BC is in the final stages of
building this model. In fact I am expecting photos very soon which I
shall post in "Paddleducks". Kai is not online, but I can give you a
contact address if you want to reach him personally. He's Danish, a
neat guy and a VERY imaginative modeler with some impressive prize-
winning model ships to his credit. "Hjejlen", which he patiently
taught me to pronounce "Yullen" is his first paddler model and is
soon going to be going through her "sea trials" (always a nail biting
time!)
