It's officially the coldest day.
Ballarat has frozen on its equal coldest ever July day.
FOR a city so well known for its cold weather, even Ballarat turned it up – or should that be down – to its freezing best on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that Ballarat’s top temperature was just 4.4 degrees which occurred at 8.12am, making it the equal coldest July day alongside July 30, 1994.
But unusually, while 4.4 degrees was the top day-time temperature, the highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was actually 4.6 degrees at 4.40am.

Hi Damian,
we had a hotwell last 4 weeks with temperatures at three days until 39 to 40°C. For me, this is quite the right temperatue, because in former times I spent a long time in Africa and East Asia. The winter in Swabian County will be very cold, sometimes with temperatures until - 22°C, good for inside activitis like paddle steamer built...

Damien, you had better get the weather sorted soon! We are coming to Melbourne and Echuca mid September and the last thing we need is for the temperature to be lower than here in New Zealand! I persuaded my dearest that adding a few extra days on the trip to spend a few days on the Murray and visiting the art galleries and wineries would be just like summer so Melbourne better deliver! Cheers, Ian.

You should be fine Ian September is the start of Spring, Ballarat cops the cold as were 450 metres above sea level, Echuca sits at 96mt above sea level the times in the past I've competed in motor sport at the Hume weir motor racing circuit was always mild weather, I doubt it has changed.

As I grow younger I find I dislike the cold and hope that I don't have to go out in the ice and snow but that's a dream and then it happens for now in Canada we have our summer so Damien hold out you to will soon have summer weather.
I HATE THE COLD.
