Anchors
« on: February 26, 2018, 11:10:51 PM »
Hallo (again)
Some help please about anchor type and size, for a turn-of-century excursion PS. Probably a matter of where to look? I've tried searching the forum without success: may be a matter of the right question to ask.
Thanks           Michael R

Morning Michael.....any easy question :whistle....but just need a little more clarification

A number of turn of the Century built Excursion Paddlers on the lakes of Geneva still currently displaces approx. 150+ tonne
An Excursion Paddler on a smaller British river at the turn of the Century may displace 25 tonne

Now....the first may have a steam driven anchor windlass, and the latter just a rope and Kellek   ...so OK........ :squareone
