Holiday
« on: July 11, 2017, 04:42:41 PM »
Hi all,

Went on holiday to the Lake District last week - Not the best weather, but we made the most of it and enjoyed the break and spectacular scenery...

The downside was that I went away as a 50 something year old, and came back as a 60 year old! Where the hell do all the years go? :(

Regards
Eddy

I know how you feel Eddy I recently had 65th birthday and Gov't decided I'm no longer disabled I'm simply old and swapped me to the age pension.

A belated Happy Birthday Eddy. :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

If your Government is like mine they decreased what they give you. Your no longer disabled just old to them, wish my body would act like that. As far as I am cosigned I am both disabled and old and should get more, but they don't agree.

I agree Gerald.
The only real difference in Aust.
Is they no longer want reviews to see if your still disabled, I still get my back brace and orthotic shoes repaired/replaced as needed free except the $10au each way to clinic.

Yes Eddy....[belated greetings :beer ]

It has caught up with me, in the sense I find myself using shortcuts without maintaining prototocol :whistle...then I ultimately find people are watching & remind me of my error

The real difficulty is understanding if the rules were wrong....in the first place?
