Hello.

I have just joined. I built a small steam boat a few years ago and fitted a single cylinder oscillating engine. It was from a kit and extremely crude. I have now a small lathe and wish to build a new engine. I plan to use a twin piston valve engine instead.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Welcome James we have quite a few knowledgeable steam builders - operators here unfortunately I'm not one of them, no doubt you'll be pointed in the right direction soon by one or more of our steam team.
