Hello all, Im a long term inmate of the model steam boat club who is returning to steam after spending many years building hot air engines
Under construction at the moment is Basil Harleys Victoria and a refit of a Clyde puffer and a first for me a recently acquired Deans Marine Thames Steam launch kit that Im building an MB22 engine for as well as a shop boiler just so I can test these wee engines. I normaly scratch build and it seems more intimidating building from a kit to someone elses drawings.
These are all long term builds as Im a complete scatter brain and often go of at a tengent onto other builds but Im trying to be good and finaly finish of what Iv started
Many thanks
frazer

Many thanks Derek, Iv also seen youre work on other forums
Luckily I have the original mags although the drawings are now becoming a little hard to read and some letters from Malcolm at the time he built her as we both build River Queen although I built a V twin wobbler for my boat with a wet back center flue
I seem to remember he was involved in a 24 hour running competition at that time hence his gas attenuator and electronic boiler control or I may simply be confused
As Iv already mentioned Im a complete scatter brain and always have to many builds going on at the same time they usually progress when Iv managed to scrounge  or in the worst case buy some materials although the engines are getting smaller and smaller so the scrounging skills are failing
This little MB22 engine has been on the build list for a long time and now Iv a boat for her its time she was built :)
Iv closed down most web based accounts apart from this one ,HMEM and mayhem. Im a little dyslexic and found the others intimidating.
kind regards
