Greetings from the English lake district

Well I have now retired and can find time to peruse a hobby that I started as a teenager, Model boating.
In the interim I became a boatbuilder and learnt all about all aspects of wooden boat construction.
My aim is to construct a model of a Clyde paddle steamer, and will start very shortly.
Will keep you posted.

Hi Lakes guy,
Welcome to the forum
I was at Windermere last year on a holiday, are you anywhere near there?
I am building a steam launch based on a boat on Windermere.
