Hi Guys
I live in Adelaide South Australia I play the drums in a trio at nursing homes
I have just taken up model boats again after  24 years with model trains,I have a exhibition layout I have now retired.I dusted off my 72 scale Battle class Destroyer its 1.6  meters long, put two motors in it and when to the local pond, she runs well. joined up with some like minded guys we meet most Tuesdays.
Have started building a 1-200 scale model of the Great Eastern its 1060mm long.
from ply and balsa, with the paddles made on a 3D printer!
My Interest in the ship is the fact that my great great grandfather William Harrison,
was the first Captain Commander.until 1860.
Cheers
Hutch.

Welcome to Paddleducks Hutch, I hope you'll post some photos of your build as you progress?

Fascinating to hear that your great great grandfather was captain of the ship!

Regards
Eddy
