hi guys , model is looking really good , nice to see the page active again , good luck w the school talks .
i ran my paddler on the week end ,at our club sail , it was really nice to see the paddler paddling !! there is a certain magic about the noise of the P Wheels working
im looking at other paddler designs now , w a view to draw up 2 , and build at least 1 , civil war raider+USS Henrietta , from the movie , around the world in 80 days , but its hard , just using photos , herietta is taken off a recorded movie , both a long way off.

g day guys , i hope all is well ,
 i have just gone back through the posts on Kempton , and would like to ask , how much did you add to the hull depth ,and what is the model draft now ??
i am ken to do something about the hull in 2/3 yrs , but i need to know what was added to the draft/depth of the hull ,so as i don't make the same mistake ,same issue w Aussie paddlers

I'm on holiday in Lake Garda at the moment, with grandstand views of the Paddler Zanardelli arriving and departing Limone from my balcony high above the landing stage. Will answer your questions when I get back and touch base with Lachie. He now reads posts but still isn't at the stage of replying to posts.

Apologies for not getting back to you Bill and will try to supply info on draft ASAP. In the meatime some more pictures taken today. Lachie has been working on other projects in parallel to Kempton. Note the crew muster in the last pic.

Lachie's model is almost finished, mast lights and armament to be added. Sailed on two bitterly cold days on Loch Lomond this week.

Lachie sailed Kempton at Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club recently. Model is very tender but coped well with a stiff breeze causing paddles to dig in on turns. Fair bit of finishing work including guns and crew.

Thanks for the compliments which I will pass on to Lachie in case he has lapsed back into computer denial mode. Although not a Paddler I thought you all might be interested in another of his models, the Northern Lighthouse vessel Pharos. To my mind this is a superb model and the subject of my favourite video of the many I have taken of his models.
