I wonder if it could be motorised and made into a dummy working engine for a suitable paddler?
Though I'm not sure how long the plastic components would last before they wore out!

hi paddlers (for those i missed , best wishes and good health)
Has any of you an idea of the price of this kit ?

I've got an early version of the kit. It doesn't give any scale on the box or else were. The 'paddle wheel' is 143 mm in dia. The base is 155 x 62 x 34 mm.
Whilst it was originally powered by a small electric motor the 'bearing' surfaces and shafts are styrene, as is the rest of the kit, and it would I think need some extra work if you wanted to run it for any length of time.
The Airfix website doesn't give any indication of price or release date.

The four stroke engine is, I belive, an other re-release. Again the web site doesn't when it'll be out. The other two have been out for a while now.
