Hello from Mystic, CT

I'm continuing to update the International Register of Historic Ships (1985, 1993 and 1999 published editions) and hope to have a fourth edition in print within the next year.  The total number of vessels of all types is now over 2200.  This includes gathering information on surviving paddlewheel vessels, and photographing them in my travels.  I also collect postcards and historic photos of American steamboats, and have been involved in cataloguing collections of steamboat and steam engine plans held by the South Street Seaport Museum in New York, and a collection of steamboat negatives in the archives of the Mystic Seaport Museum.
