Steam Tug Jumna
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:20:38 AM »
While looking through some old magazine I came across a interesting article in the Aug. 1980 issue of Live Steam. It describes a little side paddle wheel tug called Jumna and says it now sits on the veranda of the Busselton Museum. The tug is only 12'6" overall with a 3' beam 5'5" over the paddle boxes and was made of 22 gauge galvanized iron. The Tug was built by Canon Robert Davies who was reported to be a prominent Australian model engineer. Does anyone know it this tug still exists?
Regards,
Gerald.
PS On doing some serching It looks like PJ and me have the same magazine

Be wary of strong drink. It can make you shoot at tax collectors--and miss. Lazarus Long
