Hi all, just joined up as I'm fairly new to paddle boats and steamers. I've been a modeller for many years, both professionally for film & tv, and as a hobby. My latest home project is building a model railroad loosely based on the American 1860's-90's, with a harbour scene and paddleboat. I bought a 22" kit by Life-Like Hobby Kits of the Robert E lee from EvilBay (lol) as I couldn't get one in the UK; unfortunately no instructions or decals, so if anyone can help with a scanned copy of either, I would be really grateful. I believe that the kit was produced under different brands.
I did have a beautiful r/c model of the Creole Queen, complete with on-board lights and sounds, but after I had a serious heart attack, I couldn't cope with lifting it anymore, and it got sold off early last year. I've regretted it since, so may decide to do another one day.
