Have known and read posts on this site for quite a while. I only entered the world of steam about 3 years ago and quickly was lead to live steam boats. I have a small fleet but up to now have no paddlers in the mix. I have spent the majority of my steam web life on the Mamod And other Steam forum, a bit on MBM and RC Groups in the steam sections as well.
I have 2 live steam boats under construction ( a Spanish American War Torpedo Boat Destroyer ( Cushing)and a 1888 stern wheeler / catamaran hull from the gold rush days in Western Canada on the head waters of the Columbia and Frazier Rivers- The SS Dispatch.
2 side-wheelers projects are slated for the shop as well , power plants in hand and one candidate hull to re-purpose to a paddling career. Both will be well below the standards I see here but you are the holders of knowledge so here I am. Files and hull designs and layout is afoot!!
Though the exact boats I want to pay tribute to may be a combination /hybrid of similar boats.
My first side-wheeler will be a straight forward and not overly detailed version of the
Dagmar- the
Brackley seems to be a close cousin as well. Working boats with few frills. Just my type.
I love the simplicity and earnestness of here design. The second will be a version of the
Eppleton Hall ( as it resides not too far from me) or a bit simpler the
Eccles. As I am adapting a previously built older hull- time will tell what will appear!!

So much is in motion here in the Stumptown Boatwerks

I look forward to the future interaction with you all
