« on: January 31, 2011, 10:13:26 PM »
Hi to all of you who are interrested in Formula1, tomorrow is the stars of the preseason tests at Valencia Spain.

Today we had the presentation of our new car Sauber C30 Ferrari, can't wait to see the car on the track.

At 6pm i leave from Hinwil with one of my colleagues to Valencia we carry a late delivery for the test, i try to shot some photos there and show them to you.

kind regards Hans.

I'm already looking forward to the new season Hans :) With a bit of luck it should be just as exciting as last year!

It will be interesting to compare the new Sauber C30 with last years car...

Regards
Eddy

I am back now from Valencia, puah what a trip, 3000km in two days.

The sad thing is i had only 30 minutes there for my photos, my colleague was in a hurry to go home time was short but long enough for a few photos.

Thank you Eddy for posting one here.

regards Hans

Renault driver Robert Kubica continues to make good progress after crashing his Skoda rally car a week ago.... The crash resulted in serious injuries to his foot, leg, hand, elbow, and shoulder when a crash barrier penetrated the floor of his car.

His partially severed hand was re-attached and various broken bones repaired in two long operations lasting 7 hours and 9 hours. A final operation to repair his elbow will take place tomorrow.

It is expected that Robert will be out of Formula 1 for the entire season, and his former BMW Sauber team mate Nick Heidfeld is likely to take his place in the Renault after setting the fastest time at testing in Jerez on saturday.

what a start into the new season,

a good race, no accidents (serious ones) our both cars withhin the points and then DISQUALIFIED because of a wrong part who made no difference to the legal one, but there are rules you have to follow >:(

The next time we will do it better, regards Hans

It was a real shame that Sauber were disqualified for a technical infringement of the rules, especially when it didn't effect the performance of the car at all!

It was amazing that Perez managed to complete 35 laps on one set of tyres, when all the other teams were wearing them out in 15 laps or so!

Hopefully it does show that Sauber do have a car that can be competetive this year, so things can only get better....

Perhaps the good tyre wear had something to do with the design of the suspension  ;)
