Slàinte, sonas agus beartas
(Health wealth and happiness) –
Health
– As some of you already know my Mum has Cancer and is currently having treatment for it – hence my absence on here.
I hope all on Paddle Ducks enjoy a healthy New Year or at least a restored Health, God willing!
Wealth
Personally I have had a good year and survived another year of recession – I hope all have a prosperous New Year!
Happiness
– Roll on September 4th 2011!
To everybody
–
Slàinte maith, h-uile latha, na chi 'snach fhaic!
Gun cuireadh do chupa thairis le slainte agus sonas.
Nollaig Chridheil agus Bliadhna mhath ùr!
(Good health, every day, whether I see you or not!
May your cup overflow with health and happiness.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!)
All the best,
Kim
(Enjoying a wee bit of free time to google some Gaelic before doing some serious development work over the holiday … will keep you up to date on the forum.)

IIRC, I tried to send a 25.12 photo of a paddlesteamer before: on 25.12.96 I was in Sacramento, but didn't photograph
Delta King
.
I have been in Moskva on Christmas day, but my photo of the paddleboat there was taken on a different holiday, and different date.
The enclosed is the best which I can do: on Sun.25.12.88 I was passing through a Buddhist country to reach a Muslim one (Pakistan), so here is an express ferry on Chao Phraya River, Bangkok.
Merry Christmas,
