do you mean a general arrangement plan as available with the Caldercraft kit, Carlos, or building plans to make your own hull and superstructure and other pieces.

I want to build the hull and all the pieces by hand. I liked the finished model kit Caldercraft by the level of detail it have. But, I do not know the plane Caldecraft kit. Therefore, it could be any such plan or any other. Thank you very much.

Thank you Carlos for the reply.
Unfortunately if you want to build the model yourself from scratch, the plans for the Imara as supplied by Caldercraft would be of absolutely NO USE to you at all, as they are NOT TO SCALE. I highlight this because it has been an annoyance of the many many people who have built the Caldercraft Imara over the years, because the builder cannot take any measurements from the plans at all.......it is shorter than it should be, and yet as wide....it is taller than the plans show, and all measurements on the plans just don't relate in anyway to the model at all, and all it is usefull for is giving a basic idea as to where they go on the ship.

The original designer of the model did, I know have original builders plans for her, and may have passed them on to the present owner, who you might contact at http://www.jotika-ltd.com/Pages/1024768/Ccraft_Front.htm

to see if he still has the plans of the original ship.

I will look for my plans of her and if I can find them will gladly send them to you, but I usually throw them away once I have built the model from a kit. Hope this helps.

neil.
